Partnering with brands is what keeps Rue La La's core ingridient. Brand decks come fast and furious and small teams are tasked to create stories through copy and design that bring two brands together. Each pitch deck is kicked off with specific requests that each brand brings, requests such as wanting to cater to a younger (or older audience), up their revenue by x%, sell out of a specific type of clothes, or simply see what we can do. No strings attached.
These decks come with fun creative challenges. How would Rue sell a story about a hotel in the middle of summer? Which location would benefit the brand and ours to tell and what type of event(s) could we tie it to? Also, what Images can be found to piece together these said stories since the creative doesn't exist.
